Driving your car to Croatia cost more then just the gas you spend, depending on which travel route you choose, you might pass through Austria and almost certainly also through Slovenia, for both countries a road vignette is required to drive on the highway, the vignette for Austria can be bought in gas stations before you get to the Austrian border, the Slovenian vignette you would have to buy when you enter Slovenia. The price for the vignette depends on the validity period of the vignette purchases, prices start from 7.50 for a one week vignette for Slovenia and 7.90 for a 10 days vignette for Austria.
Lesson: Just because your new tow dolly’s specs say electric brakes doesn’t mean you won’t have to buy electric brakes. If your RV is not already equipped with electric brakes for a tow you will need to purchase a system and have it installed to safely stop your tow dolly. While the system only cost a little over $100, it had to be wired into the RV.

In the mornings, we would wake her up for school and she would be bleary-eyed. We learned later she was climbing out of her windows each night to visit friends. This follows in the lights vein. Urban areas generally are loud. There just is no way to escape that fact. Not only is the sound of cars and trucks nearly constant, but also you likely will hear sirens and people talking on the street. For some people, the noise is not an issue and is just a reminder of the vitality of the area. It can, though, be a problem for others.
